The idea was approved by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) and any registered hospital could avail for the well being of mankind. According to the concept, TPA issues ID cards to individuals who are insured under the category, which they can produce at the time of hospitalization and avail the benefits.
At Shekhar Hospital, we’ve a special TPA department which maintains data of the various health insurance companies for the cashless settlements of patients. The insured person/policyholder or a relative of his/her can show the Photo ID-Card to identify the policyholder to our authorized staff and get admission. Shekhar hospital go by the terms & conditions of the policy and offers services which are included in the policy. The cardholder needs to pay for the treatments not covering under the policy at the time of discharge.
